Best Student Paper Competition

The AIM2005 is pleased to announce a Best Student Paper Award. All primary first-listed authors of a regular contributed paper, who were students at the time of submission are eligible; the authors of an invited session paper are eligible as well, as long as the paper at the time of submission is in full paper format instead of an extended abstract to go through a rigorous review process.

Up to five finalists will be awarded limited travel reimbursements to attend the conference based on their contributed papers. The finalists are required to present their papers at the conference to receive the award.

To enter the competition, after a paper has been uploaded, the student's advisor must fill out the nomination form, explicitly indicating that the student is the main contributor of the paper and upload it to the on-line submission system as a single PDF file. Please use the Submit link next to "Best Student Paper Award Nomination". Note that you will require the submission number for the paper you are nominating. You (or your co-author) should have received the paper number in the email acknowledgement when the paper was submitted.
